In order to edit the fillable form fields on a PDF template, you will need to use some proprietary software such as Adobe Acrobat DC. (Note this is not the free Adobe reader).

More info about fillable form fields can be see here:-

Tip

We have located and tested this Free Tool called Sejda https://www.sejda.com/pdf-forms which works, it is basic and it will allow 3 free document edits, before it locks you out for an hour.

Note

Unfortunately we have found since a recent update to https://www.pdfescape.com/ the form fields are no longer working, if you use this to create your fillable form fields I am afraid you will need to find an alternative.

Warning

Do please note that we do not take any responsibility for using these external links or tools, they are merely suggestions on the type of software required to create fillable form fields on a PDF Document.

  3. Either sign up to a free trial of some PDF Fillable Form Field product or use any existing software you have for this purpose such as Adobe Acrobat DC.

  4. Convert the fields to Fillable Form Fields and enter the field names e.g. apprentice_name into the relevant field.
