epaPRO Essentials
epaPRO Essentials is our affordable, flexible solution for those Awarding Organisations that don't require the scale of epaPRO Enterprise, but still need to have access to a vast range of must-have tools to help manage and support the learner journey, with no ongoing commitment.
Note that the majority of knowledgebase articles are written mainly from the epaPRO Enterprise point of view, most of these will also apply to epaPRO Essentials too.
Essentials Dashboard
One of the main differences with Essentials versus epaPRO Enterprise, is that it is billed monthly, this is managed via the System Management → Essentials screen.
Here you can add a payment card to make your monthly payments for your gateways. The screen also allows you to see your monthly billing and download your invoices.

Within Essentials, users will receive the following default communications - click on the drop down arrow below, to see this section expanded.

Roles & Permissions
Unlike epaPRO Enterprise there are no custom roles to create and manage, instead users will use the default pre-set system roles:-
awarding organisation
provider
employer
apprentice
epa
iqa
epamanager
admin
owner
Within these roles the individual permissions can be applied manually, per user, by someone with the permissions to amend them.
Please note any permissions that apply only to epaPRO Enterprise will appear with a icon and greyed out, as per the image below.
Note the new Assessment Booking referred to here - is only available as an Enterprise feature.
