Reviewing Draft Items & Troubleshoot errors
You can review the draft item:- Item Info, Draft Resources & Blueprinting - so you can see its mapped to the Standard and KSB correctly.
The overview would be blank, as its not been in any item sets yet.
Would suggest that resources (uploaded images ) are qa’d to ensure they are of a good quality.
If the image appears poor and pixelated, you can edit the item and upload a new resource.
To do this you use:-
Start New Version - you aren't creating a new item, instead you are creating a new version of the item. (Unless you are changing the item beyond all recognition, then you would create a new item, not update the version.)
Remove old resource (or if needed edit any question text, amend the blueprinting of it), upload a new file/image.
Submit for Review
Approve - you now have Approved version 2 of the item.
Items can be submitted for review and referred to a person set up on the backend of risr/
It will move it from Draft- → Pending, once signed off you then Approve it.
The item then moves to Approved.
Item Filters
The item filters can be quite powerful, they let you check for the different question types, if they are tagged, which standard they relate to, if there are resources attached etc. If you click on the “add new filters” - then you can expand this further to filter on the standard and drill down through the layers, such as the versions and specific KSB’s.
Blueprint Report
This will tell you across the entire item bank, the number of questions tagged to a particular Standard and KSB.
This would help you see if you have enough questions for apprentices.
Errors seen when trying to build items
“There are no answers defined” - add in some answers
“Dimension “Standards” is mandatory but no value has been provided yet”
To fix the latter, go to Blueprinting then click on the Add coordinate under the Standard blueprint map heading. Click on Change and select the category e.g. Level 2, the Standard and the KSB
