How to configure help button

We’ve added a customisable help button to the top bar of epaPRO

It can be configured to either send users to the Awarding Organisations help pages via a URL, or to send an email to a specified email address

A new setting has been added that will configure this, on the configuration screen it is called Help Link and will show under the General tab.

Instructions for entering a URL to point to a help page

In order to enter a URL, please view the video below.

In brief - go to System Management --> Configuration --> click on General tab and then enter the URL you wish to direct it to.

Instructions to send an email

In order to use this to send an email, go via the main menu to System Management -> Configuration

 

 

and select the General tab

In the “Help Link” field you can type in mailto: and then an email address e.g.  mailto:supportemailaddress@mycompany.com

Once this is saved away, the help icon will appear in the top menu and when this is selected it will open up the users default mail program i.e. Outlook and show an email with the “To” address populated.
